Safe + Sound Week in Puerto Rico and Protecting the Health and Safety of Workers

Recognize Your Safety Successes is the theme for the 2020 Safe + Sound Week that begins today. The event officially takes place from August 10^th through the 16^th and is described by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a time to recognize the successes of workplace safety and health programs. It is also an opportunity for OSHA and partners to share information and ideas on ways to keep America’s workers safe.
 
This is particularly important as job-related injuries and illnesses don’t just hurt workers and their families, they also hurt businesses in a number of ways.
