Eric Ribbens Warmly Narrates a Children’s Book of Farm Animals and Love

Macomb, IL – WEBWIRE

“Farmer Dirk and the Little Green Duck” was narrated with friendly, clear and easy to follow succession of events especially for little children.
“Farmer Dirk and the Little Green Duck” is a collection of interesting stories of a peculiar duck who thinks he is a cow, and the animals and farmers whose lives were influenced by him in one way or another in a small farm. This little duck imitated what the cows did as they ate, rested, mooed, and conducted their daily routines. Even the cows and their farmer, Dirk, oftentimes considered him a cow. Their preferences were altered to protect and accommodate the quack-mooing duck. Through the eyes of the little green duck, we meet a variety of other farm animals, and watch Farmer Dirk and his wife Annie as their family grows. This book is a great book for classroom storytelling and bedtime stories for children of all ages, and the gentle quirkiness of these stories and the love that is described will remain for a long time.
