DSM appoints Cristina Monteiro new EVP People & Organization and member of the Executive Committee

Royal DSM, a global science-based company in Nutrition, Health and Sustainable Living, today announces that Cristina Monteiro, currently Senior Vice President People & Organization for DSM Nutritional Products, is to be appointed as DSM’s Executive Vice President People & Organization. She will succeed Judith Wiese as per 1 September, 2020. Judith has chosen to take up a role outside of DSM and, following a planned handover, will leave as per 1 October, 2020. Cristina will become a member of DSM’s Executive Committee.

Cristina, an Italian and Swiss national, is an experienced senior executive with broad experience across talent development and HR business partnering who, before DSM, has worked with Philip Morris International and Cargill in multiple countries.

Cristina joined DSM in 2015 as SVP Talent Development before leading the People & Organization function for DSM’s Nutrition business group in early 2018 during which time she has focused on enabling customer centricity through organization design as well as enhancing talent development, diversity and engagement. Cristina holds a Master’s degree in Political Science & Industrial Relations from the LUISS University in Rome.
