The Ementor Group establishes a financing company

11.01.2007 - In 2006 the Ementor Group, with Atea, Topnordic and Ementor, was established as the Nordic’s largest and Europe’s third largest IT infrastructure company. The new and strong market position enables widening of the product range to the Group’s 20 000 customers in the Nordic region. Therefore the Group establishes its own financing company which will market financing and rental of IT equipment.
The financing company will supplement the Group’s other services and contribute in the Group’s appearance as an even more concise and attractive total supplier within the IT infrastructure area. The establishment has as a goal to contribute to increased customer loyalty and increased earnings for the Group.

The financing company will be established in cooperation with Acento Finance AS and will be operative from 1 April 2007. The company, which will be established, will be owned 90.1% by Ementor and 9.9% by Acento Finance AS. Christian Gårdsmoen from Acento is engaged to lead the company. Acento is leading in the Nordic region within build up, implementation and operation of equivalent business for sales financing and will contribute with substantial experience in the cooperation. Acento has access to the IT systems, routines and work processes necessary to make a financing company function optimal. The cooperation with Acento secures a quick start-up, monitoring results, and reduced commercial risk.

The new financing company will use the Ementor Group’s brands, Ementor Financial Services in Norway, Topnordic Financial Services in Denmark and Atea Financial Services in Sweden and Finland.
