Invik Funds introduces Sweden’s first fund for structured products
Aktie-Ansvar, the fund company within the Invik Group, has received approval from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority to introduce a new fund in Sweden named Peritus. The fund will actively manage capital protected structured products and is planned to be launched on March 1, 2007.
Peritus, the new fund, will be managed by Aktie-Ansvar in cooperation with Garantum Fondkommission. The fund’s placement philosophy is active management of structured products by continuous replacements and profit securements. The administration fee is a 1 per cent fixed fee as well as a 20 per cent performance fee on the excess return compared with Swedish bond index.
Aktie-Ansvar’s combined fund assets amounted to slightly more than SEK 14 billion at the year end, which is close to a doubling during the year. In October 2006 the new fund Graal Offensiv was launched which at the year end had a volume of funds under management of SEK 970 million.
"It feels good to be the first on the Swedish market to introduce a fund actively managing capital protected structured products. The market’s interest for direct investments in capital protected products is quite extensive and we believe that a fund working with these products will attract the investor’s interest and demand", says Stefan Carlenius, MD of Aktie-Ansvar and responsible fund manager.
