WEBWIRE

“It’s a sweet and short kids book with good morals and focuses on working hard to earn your dreams. A great book for kids.”

Based on a true story, this picture book for children tells how a pony with handicaps and a little girl become best friends through patience and time. “The Adventures of Ivy and Kimber” is filled with examples of positive morals, and it teaches children to care for pets the very best way they can. It also shows that waiting for something you want can seem to take forever, but it’s worth it.

Eight-year-old Kimber yearns to have a horse all her own just like her older brother, Mike. One day, she gets her wish. Ivy, blind in one eye with slightly bowed front legs, comes into her life. Kimber loves the pony, caring for her and riding her every day. Kimber and Ivy are best friends, and then they’re blessed with an extra special surprise.

This book undoubtedly delivers the necessary moral lessons for young children.
