The Kaiser Permanente Chase Gardens Medical Office opened. Located at 360 S. Garden Way in Eugene, the new, state-of-the-art medical office provides Kaiser Permanente Northwest members in Lane County greater access to primary care and additional onsite services.

“We put our members at the center of everything we do and are excited to be expanding our care and service options in Lane County,” said Shannon Surber, senior administrator for Kaiser Permanente’s Mid-Valley service area. “Our new medical office is designed to address patients’ needs in the most convenient way possible with the highest quality of care.”

The new 16,379-square-foot medical office provides a variety of services all under one roof.
Kaiser Permanente Chase Gardens Medical Office offers primary care including family medicine, internal medicine, and behavioral health support. In addition, members have access to a new nurse treatment area, new imaging services, an on-site pharmacy, and additional on-site lab services.

Chase Gardens Medical Office’s design also leverages advanced telehealth technology.

Kaiser Permanente is continuing to keep our members and our communities as safe as possible during the fight against COVID-19. As we continue to serve Lane County, we encourage our members to schedule telehealth services so we can assess their current health needs prior to visiting the office. Our new medical office provides additional space and security as our health care team continues to see patients with health care needs that extend beyond virtual assessment, including wellness visits and immunizations for children up to 26 months of age. We are also providing COVID-19 testing to members who meet the testing criteria.

“While we are providing members more on-site services, we are also increasing access to telehealth visits, so members have more care options to stay healthy,” said Sheila Jhansale, MD, an internal medicine specialist at Kaiser Permanente Chase Gardens Medical Office. “With telephone, video, and e-visits, our members can easily connect with a member of their care team from their tablet or phone, and save time, travel, and the environment.”

Patients can also enjoy the ease of express check-in, which allows them to confirm their appointment, pay their copay, and update their personal information online prior to coming into the medical office.

Kaiser Permanente has long been committed to improving the health of the communities where its members and employees live and work. This new office, combined with our continued investments in Lane County areas of critical social need, such as housing, advances our mission of improving the health of the communities we serve. Kaiser Permanente’s former downtown Eugene location is closed, and the Homes for Good housing agency will be relocating to the space. All Lane County medical services are now provided at the Chase Gardens Medical Office.

The Kaiser Permanente Valley River Dental Office, located at 1011 Valley River Way, will continue to provide dental care at its current location.
