Ascom Wireless Solutions and Swyx Solutions AG sign sales agreement for DECT products

Ascom Wireless Solutions, a world leader in on-site wireless communications and Swyx Solutions AG, a market leader in software based IP telephony solutions, announce that they have entered into a cooperation in the area of DECT cordless products.

The two companies have signed an agreement under which Ascom will supply Swyx-branded DECT handsets and IP-DECT infrastructure which Swyx will distribute through its European-wide network of sales partners as part of its IP telephony portfolio.

The Ascom IP-DECT portfolio, based on the SIP standards and using a modular approach, supports all sizes of business from small single site companies to large multi-site enterprises. The solution enables seamless handover between base stations so that users can work more efficiently and professionally while conversing with colleagues, customers or partners by being able to continue conversations while roaming.
