The last batch of work roll changers for the finishing mill of the Mexico Ternium2050 project, jointly undertaken by Chengdu Heavy Machinery Co (CHMC), affiliated to Sinomach Heavy Equipment Group (Sinomach-HE), a subsidiary of Sinomach, and Japan PTJ Company, was smoothly delivered to the user in Mexico in late March. The project has been underway for two years with the main equipment now delivered on all fronts.

It was the first contract for a complete set of metallurgical equipment with a value of more than 100 million yuan signed by CHMC. Under close collaboration between CHMC and Erzhong (Deyang) Heavy Equipment Co (Erzhong), the successful delivery of the hit product has made easier Sinomach-HE’s further inroads into the international market.

The project’s assembly work had to occur after the breakout of the novel coronavirus pandemic, making progress in the multi-party cooperative work difficult. With the help of Erzhong’s professional service and coordination, CHMC and Japan PTJ worked together to ensure the equipment’s on-time delivery.
