BRF Donates Food Kits for Health Professionals Involved in The Fight Against Coronavirus in São Paulo

BRF, one of the largest food companies in the world, starts donating food kits to health professionals who work to combat the new coronavirus in the city of São Paulo. The action is part of the R $ 50 million announced by BRF in donations of food, medical supplies and support for research and social development funds, to contribute to efforts to combat the effects of the pandemic. 9,700 product baskets will be delivered per month to employees of the Municipal Hospital M’Boi Mirim - Dr. Moysés Deutsch and the Municipal Hospital Vila Santa Catarina - Dr. Gilson de Cássia Marques de Carvalho, who provide care for SUS, of the Municipal Hospital of Campanha Pacaembu, opened on April 6, and Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. The goal is to support and facilitate the lives of these teams with a line of frozen foods, 

In all, BRF’s donation initiatives will reach hospitals, social assistance organizations, food banks and health professionals in the states and municipalities where the company operates. In hospitals alone, donations should favor more than 15,000 people / day for the next three months. As a global company, the Company will extend this initiative to countries where it has production units, such as Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
