BRF Announces Donations to Toledo

Hospital protective equipment was delivered to the City Hall

BRF, one of the largest food companies in the world, donated hospital protective equipment to Toledo, in order to help fight Coronavirus in the municipality. The company supplied 200 kits of disposable clothing, containing gowns and pants, 100 gowns and 300 caps to the local City Hall, which sent the materials to the medical teams of the city’s Mini Hospital.

The action is part of the R $ 50 million announced last week by BRF in donations in food, medical supplies and support for research funds and social development, to contribute to efforts to combat the effects of the pandemic. The initiative will reach hospitals, social assistance organizations and health professionals in the states and municipalities where the company operates.

In all, only in hospital institutions, including field hospitals, donations should favor more than 15 thousand people / day, through about 2.5 million meals for the next three months. As a global company, the Company will extend this initiative to countries where it has production units, such as Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
