THE DISTANCE BETWEEN US AND THE SKY directed by Vasilis KEKATOS

Two individuals come face to face for the first time at a petrol station in the middle of nowhere.

When the one fills the tank, the other realises he needs a few euros to make the journey home.
The two men haggle over the price of what separates them from an intense story....

Abby and Luca, a couple of circus acrobats, go from town to town to perform on stage. Their relationship is falling apart. During a trip in a camper van to the next theatre, they will have to face their problems and try to regain confidence in each other.

An American household of Vietnamese origin receives a surprise visit from the head of the family, who reappears after a long absence and the failure of his plans to get rich quick.

Dar al-Kalima University College of Arts and Culture, Palestine

Two young Palestinians try to record a demo tape for a music competition in a noisy and overcrowded refugee camp. When they fail because of the chaos of the sound of the place they discover an original and creative way to record it before the deadline.

The Polish National Film School in Lodz, Poland

A corpse is stuck on the bank of a river. Its decomposing entrails still harbour a human soul - a miniature of the deceased. The rotting organs are spreading apart and a small creature emerges. It stands on the bank, takes leave of the corpse and begins a journey to the land of the dead.
