There are three new ways to hit the track for competitive multiplayer fun:

• With friends or others nearby, players can create their own set of rules and compete against up to seven others. Setting up custom Rooms lets you pick the speed, item slot number, and more.
• Standard Races pit players in 100cc-speed competition against other Mario Kart Tour players around the world. These races affect your multiplayer grade. The rules and available cups change frequently, so check in often for new excitement.
• Gold Races are exclusively available to Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass subscribers, in which players can race at even faster speeds that require advanced kart maneuvers.
• Players can also earn Grand Stars from multiplayer modes, which are good towards unlocking rewards in the single-player mode.

In the free-to-start Mario Kart Tour game, players can put the pedal to the metal in courses inspired by real-world locations as well as Mario Kart series favorites. Put powerful items to use as you tear up the track and go for a high score in endless racing fun. Collect and upgrade a variety of drivers, karts, and gliders to find the combo that will lead you to victory!
