“A worthy story and read that can cleanse the wounds caused by human disgrace.”

Molestation happens in every country on any given day. This storyline is based on factual events of one young girl and her trials of molestation, starting at age eight. Dina, who is now a bright 13-year old will take you through her experience of being molested.

This book is perfect for pre-teens, as well as adults. It is a great learning tool for victims and or those who have had similar encounters. Inspired by true events, “Deleting Files” is a book of fiction covering very important messages of which everyone needs to be aware. Please read this book with your sons and daughters. Remind them how special they are and deserving of a safe and happy life. Help them learn how to prevent this dreadful act.

Lastly, there is a plethora of useful information including government websites and agency phone numbers, how to detect if your child is being abused, and what to do about it. And always, always tell someone if it happens.

When family members turn a blind eye to incest and rape it can cause great devastation to the victim and family. Dina desperately wants her secret discovered except she doesn’t have the courage to tell.  Will anyone believes me she ponders.

The author, Franklin writes the story in an innovative fashion. From what one could call ‘caring gossip,’ Sadie and Marbella, both adult neighbors absolutely adore Dina and sense distress. In fact, after many conversations and piecing things together, they open the door for Dina’s courage to blossom, shining the light of truth on her darkened home life of deceptions, sexual, emotional and alcoholic abuse, which already caused the death of her beloved older brother. Struggling with this loss, a strained relationship with her mother, and wanting to feel valued among her friends, Dina doesn’t know how to fix her life. How she manages her crazy existence while concealing dark ugly secrets is incomprehensible. Dina is taught to “love your neighbor as yourself,” yet, she senses no one seems to love her… Both Sadie and Marbella have their issues, their stories and their secrets, which is ultimately revealed because of Dina’s courage and at last they get hold of their healing

“Deleting Files” will profoundly change the way we care about and protect our children from the unsuspecting enemy…The Molester!
