The series takes place in 1996, in Buenos Aires, set in a disturbing urban landscape, marked by intense violence and a lack of moral, political and social values.
The story is based on the cult novel by Germán Maggiori and stars Gabriel Goity, Nicolás Furtado, Diego Velázquez, Diego Cremonesi and Claudio Rissi. Produced by HBO Latin America, together with Pol-ka, the miniseries is directed by Pablo Fendrik and written by Germán Maggiori in collaboration with Fendrik.
Executive producers for AMONGST MEN are Luis F. Peraza, Roberto Rios and Paul Drago for HBO Latin America, and Adrián Suar and Diego Andrasnik for Pol-Ka.
