The Festival of Books was first held in 1996 and since then has become an essential part of Los Angeles’ cultural and educational scene. The annual, free public festival attracts approximately 150,000 visitors. The event holds author panels, book signing sessions, storytelling, musical performances, culinary classes, and more.
