Firefly Continues Impressive Growth With Expansion to Austin and Las Vegas Media Markets

Firefly, the company leveraging taxi and rideshare vehicles to build a street-level digital media network, today announced the expansion of its operations into two new U.S. markets: Austin and Las Vegas. The move expands its presence to eight of the top media markets in the nation. 

Firefly’s move into Las Vegas -- the entertainment capital of the world -- and Austin -- the live music capital of the world -- launches  the company into new markets known for world class events, including South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin and the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The move enables Firefly to help its brand clients more easily reach their target audiences where they live, work and play using advanced out-of-home (OOH) capabilities.

The move signals Firefly’s successful growth into the next generation of measurable, digital OOH advertising, leveraging data to deliver highly effective media campaigns using geo-targeted technology. A recent campaign for Segment, a customer data infrastructure company, showed a 142% average lift in brand awareness across New York and San Francisco markets. The screens deliver dynamic, hyper-relevant campaigns based on driver routes, demographics, traffic patterns, time-of-day, and real-time weather conditions.
