Every nhow hotel is inspiring, surprising and adapts to its surroundings like a chameleon. That is why the embodiment of the nhow brand will arrive in Amsterdam: a colourful, 8-meter-long chameleon. During a three-day canal tour, the unique brand ambassador called ‘Patch’ will pass by Amsterdam hotspots such as the Hortus Botanicus, the Royal Palace and Artis. With its impressive appearance, the chameleon represents the brand values of nhow: self-discovery, change and creativity. His arrival is a unique way to draw attention to the recently opened nhow Amsterdam RAI.

Special Chameleon Cocktail

To celebrate the arrival of the chameleon, a special cocktail drink will be launched. The Chameleon Cocktail is made by James Chaib from Bar The Tailor (Best Bartender of The Netherlands 2019 according to World Class). The Chameleon Cocktail is just as chameleonic as the nhow-brand and contains cardamom infused beer, sugar and acid adjusted tonic water. The versatile drink will be available at the nhow Amsterdam RAI bar and also available as a mocktail.

nhow Amsterdam RAI instant hit

On the 10th of January, nhow Amsterdam RAI opened its doors as the new social and multicultural hub of Amsterdam. General Manager Hermann Spatt: “The hotel is an instant hit. Not very surprising: like the city, our hotel is a bubbly melting pot of creativity, surprise and wonder. The unconventional, rich experience that we offer people, is perfectly represented by the chameleon.”

The Culture’s Hub

nhow Amsterdam RAI is a unique location for meetings and events, with nine different meeting areas on the 23rd floor that give an amazing view over Amsterdam. The hotel is themed as The Culture’s Hub: a place where travel, business and locals meet in a uniquely shaped ‘multicultural bubble’. The lounge on the first floor is the perfect place to (net)work. THE ENTOURAGE GROUP is soon launching a Mexican Kitchen & Bar and Lounge & Bar concept at a staggering height of 91 meters, with a panoramic view on the city. In the public spaces, influences from all over the world create an interesting mix of colours and patterns. The 650 rooms in the hotel have six unique design, inspired by the six cardinal directions: South, East, North, Southwest, Southeast and Northwest.

About nhow hotels

nhow is NH Hotel Group’s disruptive hotel brand, known for its iconic establishments. Inspired by the cities in which they are located and designed by the leading creative minds of our times (Foster+Partners, OMA, founded by Rem Koolhaas, Karim Rashid, Sergei Tchoban, Teresa Sapey and Matteo Thun, among others), nhow is simultaneously a hotel and a creative hub. Each nhow establishment becomes a landmark in its city, a melting pot for creativity.

At a nhow hotel everything is unexpected, though-provoking and surprising. Every room, restaurant and lobby are an invitation to meditate, a call to take action in our lives, as embodied by the slogan #changenhow. Each guest will live their own personal experiences with one thing in common: the wow factor! Located in key urban districts undergoing a transformation, the nhow hotels quickly emerge as landmarks for self-discovery and experimentation through ’artivism’. Why wait? The time is now, nhow.
