“The Old Man’s Request” (Rantings of a Wandering Mind; 2018) by Joab Stieglitz is one of the many thrillers that will be exhibited will be exhibited at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2020 on April 18-19, 2020 at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA.
 
The Festival of Books was first held in 1996 and since then has become an essential part of Los Angeles’ cultural and educational scene. The annual, free public festival attracts approximately 150,000 visitors. The event holds author panels, book signing sessions, storytelling, musical performances, culinary classes, and more. Aside from books, new and original works of art and photography will also be on display.

He has also worked as a software trainer, network engineer, project manager, and technical writer over his 30-year career. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia. Joab is an avid tabletop RPG player and game master of horror, espionage, fantasy, and science fiction genres, including Savage Worlds, Call of Cthulhu, Lamentations of the Flame Princess, GUMSHOE, and Pathfinder, to name a few.
