Gentry Magazine Features Marc Silber’s Photo Essay

WEBWIRE

In Gentry magazine December issue, fine art photographer Marc Silber takes on a special assignment to capture the San Francisco Peninsula.

Silber’s career as a photographer began at 12 when he learned darkroom skills at famed Peninsula School. He studied the works of masters such as Ansel Adams and Henri Cartier-Bresson but quickly forged his own unique style. Later, he honed his skills at the San Francisco Art Institute—one of the most prestigious schools of art and photography in the United States.

Gentry said, “Marc has a passion for capturing a sense of place in his work. After studying a bit of Silber’s portfolio we challenged him to capture our favorite place—the Peninsula…you’ll find some exquisite images of a place you thought you already knew.”
