Await Lydia Greico’s anti-bullying book at the 2020 Tucson Festival of Books

The book “Because It’s Wrong: Bullies vs. Nazis” (ReadersMagnet; 2019) by Lydia Greico has been making the rounds at different book fairs in the U.S. and around the world. This time, it will be exhibited at the 2020 Tucson Festival of Books on March 14 -15, 2020 at the University of Arizona Campus, Tucson, AZ.
 
The Tucson Festival of Books is founded in 2009 to support literacy in Southern Arizona. Over 100,000 literature lovers attend the two-day open-air literary festival to meet new authors; discover new publishers and book organizations; participate in more than 300 presentations, and; celebrate their love for books. The book festival hosts a wide and exciting variety of exhibits, author panels, book signings, food vendors, children’s and Science City programming, and dozens of free activities for the attendees.
 
Greico’s book “Because It’s Wrong: Bullies vs. Nazis” will be exhibited by ReadersMagnet at the 2020 Tucson Festival of Books.
 
The purpose of the book is to compare and contrast the behavior of the bullies today with how the Nazis bullied the Jews. Greico was horrified at what Adolf Hitler did to the Jews. Indeed, learning about the Holocaust for the first time made her seek counseling. 
 
“I will be discussing the most notorious places of cruelty (bullying) done to non-believers in the Nazi regime,” said Greico. “I am going to cover the bullying that went on in the most notorious concentration camps.
 
“The Holocaust ravaged European Jews. No greater illustration of bullying and tyranny on an incomparable scale can be considered than the elimination of an entire race of people across Europe.”

About the Author
 
Lydia Greico has a master’s degree in occupational studies and is licensed as a psychiatric technician. She is now retired from this profession, but she still advocates for those who need it. She has authored two other books and articles on different subjects. She earned her master’s degree from California State University at Long Beach in 2006. It took her four years to complete this book, as it brought back many painful memories.
