WEBWIRE

The IDFA Bertha Fund is now calling for project submissions to the IBF Europe – International Co-production funding scheme. Read more about the grant and apply by April 1, 2020.

The IDFA Bertha Fund supports independent, critical, and artistic voices from Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe with the aim of stimulating and empowering the creative documentary sector in these regions.

About IBF Europe – International Co-production Support

Through IBF Europe – International Co-production Support, the IDFA Bertha Fund aims to encourage European producers to participate as co-producer in high-quality documentary projects by filmmakers from the above-mentioned regions. Check the complete list of MEDIA sub-program countries and the IBF Europe Country List to see if you and your project are eligible.

Specific attention will be paid to encouraging and supporting producers from countries with limited national co-production funding schemes, or from countries that are not yet fully involved in international co-productions. IBF Europe is supported by the Creative Europe – MEDIA program of the European Union.
