About the Author

Pamela Simon is a Master’s-level Registered Dietitian who wrote “The Book of Blah” while she was a stay-at-home mom home-schooling with her daughter. During this time, she had extra thought energy, which allowed her to see her life differently. In the author’s words: “All of the sudden, many of life’s little struggles seemed silly and ridiculous. Sharing the humor in these events became important to me. I wanted to help others to lighten up and learn to laugh at their daily challenges and stop taking themselves so seriously.”

Pam now works as a nutrition consultant and counselor, teaching classes in minimal-movement senior exercise, and counsels clients with eating - related self esteem issues to feel better about themselves and their eating behaviors. She lives with her family and various rescued animals in a suburb of Chicago, IL.
