BNY Mellon Earns Recognition from Leading Organizations

BNY Mellon has received recent accolades for corporate social responsibility and diversity and inclusion. We are included in Bloomberg’s Gender Equality Index, CDP’s Climate Change ‘A List’, Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list and the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index.

• Bloomberg’s Gender Equality Index (GEI): BNY Mellon has been named to the 2020 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index. The company has been included on this sector-neutral index since its inception in 2016. The GEI distinguishes companies committed to transparency in gender reporting and advancing women’s equality.
• CDP’s Climate Change ‘A List’: For the seventh consecutive year BNY Mellon was awarded a position on the Climate Change ‘A List’ by the CDP, a non-profit global environmental disclosure program. BNY Mellon was recognized for its actions to cut emissions, mitigate climate risks and develop the low-carbon economy, based on the data submitted by the company through CDP’s 2019 climate change questionnaire.
• Fortune Magazine’s 2020 World’s Most Admired Companies: BNY Mellon has been named one of the “World’s Most Admired Companies” by Fortune Magazine. The annual survey, conducted by Fortune and Korn Ferry, is a leading measure of corporate reputation among the world’s largest companies.
• Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index (HRC CEI): For the thirteenth year running BNY Mellon received a perfect score on the 2020 Corporate Equality Index, a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality.
