Chronic pain expert Cindy Perlin came by much of her knowledge about chronic pain treatments the hard way--by living through multiple bouts of chronic pain. At one point, chronic back pain put her out of commission for over three years. After accidentally stumbling upon a solution to that problem and getting back to her life, Perlin then developed excruciating foot pain that made walking difficult. It was fourteen years before she happened upon a solution. In both cases, physicians had no answers.
Because of her own experience, Perlin is passionate about educating pain patients about safe, effective treatments for chronic pain. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified biofeedback practitioner and has been working with pain patiens for over 25 years.
