Dreams of Life Beyond the Stars

Everett Hunt is here with his sci-fi novel “Pitus Peston and the Gods of Oman” – where a young boy envisions an existence beyond the stars he sees in the night sky, even if this was considered blasphemous in his ignorant period of time.

Everett Hunt knows how to make the hunt thrilling and exhilarating. His protagonist comes across evidence of foreign species and this sets his heart aflame. A dreamer of cosmic adventure, he was born into an unlikely time for space flight. Pitus Peston, an eighteen year old farmer’s son gifted with a linguistic genius, discovers an old wampum belt bearing a strange image.

It stirs his soul and he believes that the image on the belt is otherworldly and he determines to uncover its secret. The readers are taken from one mountain to the next, propelled to rising heartbeats of escape and survival, and driven to accept the truth no matter how the past deemed such things to be false.

“Pitus Peston and the Gods of Oman” is a story that challenges the old claims of selfish human beliefs. Earthlings are not the only creatures living in the immensely vast universe, or so Pitus truly asserts despite the rejection from his era. Fun and adventurous, the novel is full of shocking revelations and exciting episodes of stunned humanity and powerful aliens. This is truly a mix of early American settlement battles and space mystery. Intriguingly fascinating, the period of colonial US is fleshed out and brought to life along with the advanced alien civilization living among the pre-industrial citizens.

Whether you believe in extraterrestrial creatures or not, Everett Hunt’s “Pitus Peston and the Gods of Oman” will make you wonder about the bigger possibilities that exists outside the Earth. Life beyond the stars may become more than just dreams – they can be real.
