Turner Sports will premiere NBA on TNT Tuesday Night presented by State Farm, January 28, at 7 p.m. ET, with the new weekly standout franchise highlighted by a star-studded, dynamic studio team, new contributors for the game commentator teams and innovative content initiatives.

TNT’s Tuesday night studio team will be headlined by three-time NBA Champion Dwyane Wade, WNBA Champion and two-time MVP Candace Parker and Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal, along with Bleacher Report personality and host Adam Lefkoe. Together, Wade, Parker and O’Neal have amassed more than 30 All-Star appearances, but their personal interests and influence – which transcend basketball, touching on entertainment, business, lifestyle, fashion and social activism – will also be a focus of the new studio show.

“Dwyane, Candace, Shaq and Adam are equally adept at insightfully examining today’s game as they are relating to and exploring the diverse interests and culture of today’s stars beyond the game,” said Craig Barry, Chief Content Officer, Turner Sports. “Tuesday night’s studio coverage will also see us further innovate around content that resonates beyond the studio setting and expands our footprint in the social and digital space.”

Two-time Kia NBA MVP and 2018 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Steve Nash will contribute regularly on Tuesday nights, providing standalone studio segments encompassing off-the-court features, player profiles and more.

Postgame studio coverage will focus on two to three notable games, while highlighting the remainder of the night’s action via quicker, tighter game recaps and trending moments from #NBATwitter.

The show will also lean into the authentic, diverse and relevant voices of the studio team, including building segments tied to the stylish culture in and around the game of basketball and the NBA’s passionate community of fans across social media:

  • Fit Watch with B/R Kicks – a look at player out(fits) – is in collaboration with Bleacher Report’s B/R Kicks, the leading authority in sneaker culture, with the desk weighing in on the best fashion and style moments from the previous week
  • Immersive Social Experience – leveraging the more than 15 million followers across NBAonTNT’s social accounts, Tuesdays will incorporate TikTok challenges, socially-driven recaps of the top storylines each week, fan polling, conversations inspired by the “hottest takes” across Twitter, and the best memes of the week
  • Flash it Forward – in partnership with Bleacher Report’s House of Highlights, TNT and Wade will periodically celebrate individuals or groups that have been associated with a recent, uplifting story that has “gone viral”

NBA on TNT Tuesday Night will also debut an all-new set design with a noticeably open concept – including a studio desk where viewers can see the panel’s complete outfits, including their shoes. The set will also include six vertical monitors to regularly integrate social media videos and pop culture conversations into the telecast.

Tuesday night game commentary will feature two widely-respected and talented play-by-play voices – Ian Eagle and Brian Anderson – joined by analysts Stan Van Gundy and Jim Jackson, respectively, along with reporters Chris Haynes and Jared Greenberg. This will be Eagle’s first time consistently calling regular season games for TNT, while Anderson has handled a wide range of Turner Sports telecasts since 2008. Both Van Gundy and Jackson also currently contribute as NBA TV analysts.

TNT’s Tuesday night slate tips off with a blockbuster doubleheader on Jan. 28, highlighted by the third meeting of the season between the LA Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers at 10 p.m., and a matchup of Eastern Conference heavyweights with the Boston Celtics visiting the Miami Heat earlier in the night at 7:30 p.m. Eagle, Van Gundy and Haynes will call Clippers/Lakers, while Anderson, Jackson and Greenberg will be in Miami for Celtics/Heat. The night’s coverage will include an expanded pregame unveiling this year’s NBA Rising Stars participants starting at 7 p.m.

Additional upcoming Tuesday night schedule highlights for TNT include the Clippers visiting the Philadelphia 76ers and the Houston Rockets hosting the Celtics on Feb. 11, and an Eastern Conference Finals rematch between the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors, followed by the Lakers hosting the New Orleans Pelicans on Feb. 25.

Programming throughout Tuesday nights will include the NBA on TNT Tuesday Pregame show presented by Autotrader, American Express Halftime Report, and NBA on TNT Tuesday Postgame show presented by Kia.

Turner Sports is in its 36th consecutive year of NBA coverage and TNT features a 67-game regular season schedule. The network will be the exclusive home of NBA All-Star 2020’s signature events including the NBA’s 69th annual All-Star Game from Chicago on Sunday, Feb. 16.  The network will also televise more than 40 NBA Playoff games including first and second round action and the exclusive presentation of the 2020 NBA Western Conference Finals.

Live streaming coverage of all NBA on TNT games is available via http://www.tntdrama.com/watchtnt and the Watch TNT app and participating TV providers’ websites and apps. Fans will be able to access the games whenever and wherever they desire by logging in with the user name and password provided by their TV service provider
