About the Author
 
Cynthia E. Olanin is a 1968 graduate of Muhlenberg Township High School and 1969 graduate of Reading Muhlenberg Vo Tech School program of Practical Nursing. She worked in the medical field first as a volunteer “candy striper” from the ages of 13 to 18, and then as a nurse from 1970 until she retired in January 2018.
