HBIS High Purity Xenon Applied in Shijian 20 Satellite

Shijian 20, the most advanced and heaviest satellite of the country has entered the 36,000Km high geosynchronous orbit.This is the first successful launch of Dongfanghong 5 general purpose satellite platform.Its dual propulsion system adopts high purity Xenon gas, 99.9999%, is made by HBIS. 
In aerospace industry, Xenon gas is wided use to Attitude and orbit control and orbital transfer. The Chinese once has relied on foreign Xenon to power its electron propulsion systems. The previous Shijian13 satellite project has used HBIS Xenon gas, beating the 40-year-old ban over Chinese space industry.
