“I am passionate about helping people realize they can improve their mental and physical health and can make the changes I’ve made which include “disappearing” my own chronic depression, finding a path to weight loss without dieting and living a healthier happier life through eating delicious food, not through dieting and misery.”

Cheryl A Major, Certified Nutrition & Wellness Consultant and lifetime Boston, MA resident, is excited to announce that her book, “Eat Your Blues Away” has been accepted by Whole Food Markets and will be available in stores January, 2020.

Cheryl wrote her book to document her accidental recovery from decades of struggle with chronic depression by changing what she eats. For her, it has been a miracle; a miracle she felt compelled to share with others.

Cheryl’s previous experience in this field includes her very active blog https://ThinStrongHealthy.com, teaching others to cook healthy food on her YouTube channel, creating and hosting her TV show, “Thin Strong Healthy” on WestfordCAT and creating courses to help others understand the power of food over mood!

“I am passionate about helping people realize they can improve their mental and physical health and can make changes like I’ve made which include “disappearing” my own chronic depression, finding a path to weight loss without dieting and living a healthier, happier life through eating delicious food, not through dieting and misery.”

“People didn’t believe me…In fact, they laughed when I told them how I eat. They doubted there would be such a connection between diet and mental focus and attitude. Then I told them I had cured decades of sadness annd depression, and no longer needed antidepressants; that’s when they all took notice.”

“My life is so changed; I am a different person now. I am a happy person. Decades of trying to fool the world and hide my depression are over. I am the case study; I am my own best example of the power of food.”

A by product of this is that Cheryl has become a really good cook and has discovered a true love of teaching others to cook whole healthy food that tastes delicious.

To that end, Major looks forward to creating products that will help people understand how to lose weight and maintain good mental health with moderate exercise and whole healthy food. No dieting required!
