Latvian-American author Anita Legsdin proudly presents her book “Remembrance of Meals Past”

For the home-cook and author Anita Legsdin, nothing bonds people heartily like food. If one person asks the other what his favorite is, he will receive quite an ear full before he has a plate full. Anita Legsdin learned to cook from her mother, who learned to cook from her mother, who attended a cooking school in France and became a professional chef. Of Latvian ancestry, she was indeed raised on Eastern European dishes such as sauerkraut and sausages.
