WEBWIRE

“Good story with an untrained, normal protagonist. The plot moved along with plenty of excitement- action packed from the get go.”

Greg Van Arsdale brings us a gripping and immersive, fast-paced action thriller packed with espionage, romance, intense combat and an alarming nuclear threat that could leave Los Angeles in ruin. Chuck Taylor, a man out of his element, fights to thwart their plan while fighting to survive.

The story follows a rogue band of North Korean commandos led by Colonel Jung Li as he kills the Russian crew manning a mobile ICBM and steals their nuclear warhead. Meanwhile, in Seattle, Chuck Taylor is working construction on an office high rise. After a fight with jealous coworkers, he is fired. He’s sent to the infirmary to tend to a minor cut before he leaves. That is when he meets the vivacious Lisa Fontaine, the nurse practitioner. As she listens to his story, she feels for him and sparks fly. Chuck and Lisa wind up spending a lot of time together. She invites him to take an Alaskan cruise with her. He accepts. They laugh when they board and learn it is a cruise for retired people, but they decided to make the most of it. Colonel Li and his men also board the ship. Just as it reaches international waters, they hijack it with weapons they smuggled on board. They lock all the passengers in their rooms as Li’s helicopter brings aboard the modified bomb. Action ensues as Chuck attempts to fight off the intruders and disable the nuclear bomb before they use it on American soil.
