Mona K. McVay Invites Readers to Join Little Moo On His Big Adventure Filled with Valuable Lessons Along the Way

Oklahoma – WEBWIRE

“The grass isn’t always greener on the other side of the fence,” one would often hear from old people lecturing young ones. The proverb serves as a reminder and a warning, especially for young people to keep them off dangerous places and situations. In this charming illustrated book, “Little Moo’s Big Adventure,” Mona K. McVay endears and illuminate readers on the value of contentment and appreciation.

Little Moo is a calf, always up for big adventures. Despite his jolly predisposition, he always feels lonely and dreams of playing with the cows across the road. Oh, how great a time it is to have fun with new friends! But his mother knows all too well about its dangers—the fast cars and the accident that might harm Little Moo. Even so, this does not stop Little Moo from pursuing his escapade. He seeks Mr. Horse, Mrs. Goose, and Mr. Owl, all of them telling him he should avoid his plan and that he should just stay in his own yard . Undaunted, Little Moo follows his foolish desires—and boy, did he have fun playing with his new friends. Alas, to his surprise, cows in that place don’t stay for too long, and imminent danger is waiting for Little Moo. Will he ever come home to his mom safely?

Mona’s delightful take on partaking lessons to children through a little cow and his dauntless demeanor charms readers young and old, along with the illustrations’ vivid simplicity that adds allure to the light-hearted characters and the wholesome story.

By the end of the tale, readers will get away with a smile, bringing with them a valuable lesson as they journey on to their next big adventure.
