Ralph Carlson Examines God’s Mysteries in Book “Truth and Consequences”

As a retired professor of mathematics at Grove City College, Ralph E. Carlson has seen more than his fair share of unresolved, unproven mysteries whether in math or other aspects of the mysterious universe. He has spent a considerable amount of time helping students develop logically correct arguments in constructing proofs. It was no surprise then that he found himself challenging the truth of a presentation about creationism, intelligent design, and evolution.
In his book, “Truth and Consequences,” the author examines the existence of God from a highly intellectual and spiritual standpoint. According to Carlson, attempting to answer the mysteries about God, one can resort to propositions, a statement that is either true or false. Then the consequences of their respective truth values can be analyzed to help solve the mysteries of the universe.
What a person believes to be the truth value of a proposition has no impact on its actual truth value. However, the truth value together with what a person believes about the truth value can have a profound impact on that person’s life.
