A beautiful story about acceptance and forgiveness, “Then Sings My Soul” would make a great movie in the proportion of War Room, Fireproof, and I Can Only Imagine.

One night, Lily Langston’s husband Samuel is killed by a car driven by a 15-year-old Aaron Turner. Aaron is not supposed to drive alone, especially at night, for he only has a learner’s permit. Lily’s family believes in forgiveness and learns to soften their hearts for Aaron, even convincing the court to give Aaron probation and community service. While coping with the tragedy and loss of a loved one, Lily and her family bond with Aaron over their love for music. Through the power of music, their hearts are healed, and together they discover the joy of forgiveness.
