American Express, Marriott Bonvoy and Swizz Beatz Celebrate "Women in Art"

New York – WEBWIRE

As part of an ongoing collaboration with Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean – and his contemporary art collection and cultural platform, The Dean Collection – the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card portfolio are coming together again to recognize and celebrate “Women in Art”. This new platform will bring to life a series of art-centric collaborations that will culminate at Miami Art Week in December.

  • RECOGNIZING JOEONNA BELLORADO-SAMUELS – Last night, the “Women in Art” platform was announced at The New York EDITION hotel, which participates in Marriott Bonvoy, to recognize a creative force in the art world, Joeonna Bellorado-Samuels. Joeonna was selected for her contributions to the art world and advocacy for female creatives. With support from the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card portfolio, Joeonna, celebrated trailblazer in the space, will work to encourage and inspire other creatives to never give up on their dreams.
  • COMMISSIONED ART FROM WOMEN CREATIVES – Two artists, February James and LaKela Brown, have been commissioned to create a series of six bespoke pieces of art inspired by the Card portfolio with pajama sets as their canvas. The first two sets in the series were previewed last night and will be fully unveiled at a Miami Art Week event for Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card Members in December.
  • THE DREAM PARTY at MIAMI ART WEEK – American Express and Marriott Bonvoy have a strong history of delivering unique experiences to Card Members and will be hosting an exclusive Card Member party during Miami Art Week. In support of women creatives, the commissioned pajama sets from February James and LaKela Brown will be on display at THE DREAM PARTY at The W South Beach Hotel on December 7. Guests will enjoy a special performance by Swizz Beatz and will receive limited-edition, custom-designed sleep masks that were also created by February James and LaKela Brown.

Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card Members want access to experiences – whether at home or traveling – across music, dining and theater and art. With Miami Art Week being one of the most sought-after destinations for Card Members, this collaboration delivers a unique approach to an already premium art experience.

Last June, American Express and Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott’s travel program, worked with Swizz Beatz and The Dean Collection, on the NYC debut of DELUXX FLUXX by FAILE, a limited time interactive art installation available to Card Members.
