QUALCOMM and Telit Communications Sign WCDMA Modem Card License Agreement

SAN DIEGO — December 12, 2006 — QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and other advanced wireless technologies, and Telit Communications S.p.A. (Telit), an international mobile communications specialist, today announced that the companies have entered into a commercial WCDMA modem card license agreement. The agreement affects the wireless solutions business unit of Telit. Under the terms of the royalty-bearing agreement, QUALCOMM has granted Telit a worldwide license under its CDMA patent portfolio to develop, manufacture and sell 3G WCDMA modem cards. The royalties payable by Telit are at QUALCOMM’s standard worldwide rates.
