She was born to an unwed sixteen-year-old mother, without knowing who her biological father was. Despite these circumstances, she lived a happy life with her grandmother that taught her to be compassionate and brave. As she grew up, she realized that the things that she had were not the ones that her heart wished for.

This riveting and wholesome tale of Ronnie shall shed a tear from each heart that beats the same as her. Altogether, the charming characters surrounding the story teach life-long lessons on friendship, family, faith, hope, and love.

About the Author
B.A. Pinkney is a retired federal employee residing in Baltimore, Maryland. As a child, she had always fell in love with the art of reading and writing. She won her first writing contest as an employee of the Veterans Administration, with her essay entitled: “What It Means to Be A Black Woman Living in America.” In the year 2011, her short story was one of the four chosen out of over a thousand entries to be published in a local magazine, “The Urbanite.”

Her latest fiction novel, “The Beginning Will Not Determine the Ending,” offers readers a new tale that shall enliven their soul and set their hearts ablaze with faith and hope.
