Lydia Greico’s teaching tool against bullying will be displayed at the 2019 Miami Book Fair

Lydia Greico turns her experience as a bullying victim into an inspirational and informative book titled, “Because It’s Wrong: Bullies vs. Nazis” (ReadersMagnet; 2019).
 
Parents, teachers, child psychologists, and anti-bullying activists should check out the book’s exhibit at the Miami Book Fair 2019 Street Fair on November 22-24, 2019 at Miami Dade College (Wolfson Campus) in Downtown Miami.
 
The Miami Book Fair aims to promote reading and writing; spread the awareness of the literary arts in Miami’s multi-ethnic community; and serve the community through the promotion of craft and the power of the written word. Aside from the weekend Street Fair, the book fair, which will run from November 17 through 24, hosts author talks, panel discussions, book signings, musical performances, and many other activities.
 
Greico’s book “Because It’s Wrong: Bullies vs. Nazis” will be displayed by ReadersMagnet at the 2019 Miami Book Fair.
 
The book serves as the author’s extension of her anti-bullying campaign. It strives to answer the following questions: “What is a bully?” “Who gets bullied?” “What is a scapegoat?” “Why do people get bullied?” “How far back in history does bullying go?” “What were the worst cases of bullying in history?”
 
In her book, Greico compares bullies to the Nazis. She discusses at length the historical and political aspects of bullying and the atrocities and assault on human dignity committed by the Nazis during World War II. The book is dedicated to the victims of bullying, as well as the Jews who perished in the Holocaust.

About the Author
 
Lydia Greico has a master’s degree in occupational studies and is licensed as a psychiatric technician. She is now retired from this profession, but she still advocates for those who need it. She has authored two other books and articles on different subjects. She earned her master’s degree from California State University at Long Beach in 2006. It took her four years to complete this book, as it brought back many painful memories.
