Do Van Long, CEO of Vietnam Blockchain Corporation is honored by Colorado, USA based Global Academy of Finance and Management(GAFM)

Do Van Long, CEO of Vietnam Blockchain Corporation is recently honored by the Colorado, USA based Global Academy of Finance and Management(GAFM), an accredited global graduate society for management and finance with membership over 150 countries, by awarding the Certification - ‘Master Fintech Professional’ for his contributions towards Fintech sector especially in the Blockchain sphere.

He received the Certification from Rajkumar Kanagasingam, President, Fintech Association of Sri Lanka (FASL) and GAFM Representative in Sri Lanka and The Maldives, at Park Hyatt Saigon, Vietnam.

Do Van Long recently participated as a panelist at the “Block Plus Summit Series III Future of Fintech” in Ho Chi Minh City(Saigon), Vietnam which was organized by Bitmart, a premier professional digital asset exchange platform in collaboration with a number of international institutions including Fintech Association of Sri Lanka(FASL).

Long is the third person to receive the certification after Professor Douglas W. Arner, the Kerry Holdings Professor in Law at the University of Hong Kong, who led the development of the world’s largest massive open online course (MOOC): Introduction to FinTech, launched on edX in May 2018, now with approximately 40,000 learners spanning every country in the world; and Mirna Sleiman, the Founder and CEO of Fintech Galaxy, the MENA region’s only digital crowdsourcing platform that empowers Fintech entrepreneurs and connects them with financial institutions, consultants, tech companies, mentors and investors both regionally and globally.

Long has nearly18 years of senior managerial level experience in IT, E-commerce, Travel, Hospitality and Financial sectors. He is specialised in creating innovative enterprise solutions related to ERP, CRM, SCM, Financial Solutions and Business Intelligence; and now focusing on Blockchain Services & Business Strategy Development. He holds an MBA from the Alabama, USA based Columbia Southern University and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Ho Chi Minh University of Technology.

Long joined at Infinity Blockchain Labs(IBL) in 2016 as Fintech Director and currently serves as its Regional Chief Strategy Officer; he also serves as the CEO of Vietnam Blockchain Corporation. He works mainly on building business strategy and expanding blockchain knowledge to the community, and connecting IBL to the business partners, universities and institutions across Vietnam, in an effort to make Vietnam a Fintech hub.
