Prattville, Alabama United States – WEBWIRE

At a certain point in a person’s life, one may think that the loss of a spouse may be the end of one’s existence. Such is the case of now published author Jo Bourne. She went through a devastating and seemed-to-be, never-ending sorrow when her husband died. However, God spoke to her and set her into an exciting journey that is being laid out in this book, “God in the Outback.”

In this memoir, Bourne shares her Australian mission experiences. Among the many challenges she discovered is the existence of racial discrimination, she has experienced and battled prejudice even at a young age. With the aim to make a positive difference in the lives of others, she reached out to the Aboriginal children amidst the white community.

This is a book that’s written from the heart with all humility and sincerity. The author seeks to inspire others and remind them of the importance of one’s existence. It never loses its meaning, instead, it takes on a higher from. Every door that closes, another opens. In her case, the opportunity to serve others in a different land.

A book that will transform your philosophy inside out and something you won’t be tired of reading and rereading.
