Nearpod Partners With Utah Education and Telehealth Network to Expand Schools’ Access to Its Student Engagement Platform Statewide

Nearpod, the most comprehensive Student Engagement Platform for K-12 teachers, today announces its first-of-its-kind partnership with Utah Education and Telehealth Network, which connects all Utah school districts and higher education institutions to custom pricing for quality educational resources for 21st-century educational content for 650,000 K-12 students and teachers statewide.

Teachers across all of Utah’s 41 school districts and more than 100 charter schools will now have access to special pricing for Nearpod’s library of 7,000+ ready-to-run, standards-aligned lessons. Many districts including Davis, Alpine and Canyons have already seen great success while implementing Nearpod in their classrooms last year. Based on these findings, the state is enabling access for all schools and districts in the state to purchase Nearpod and Flocabulary at preferred pricing. 

Now when a school or district purchases Nearpod, the new statewide partnership allows more than 35,000 educators to gain access to the platform’s Digital Citizenship and Literacy program to help students thrive in an increasingly digital world. It also opens access to the platform’s College and Career Exploration program to help prepare students for the next phase of education. Utah will also receive access to purchase Flocabulary at a special price, the leading video and student creativity platform, which Nearpod recently acquired. Not only do both platforms offer specific programs for Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), but the company also places importance on incorporating SEL into every lesson to help students develop transferable skills across the curriculum.
