Eve DeLange Offers Crime Fiction Fans A Different Kind of Thrill With Her Book, “Betrayed”

Sun City West, AZ 85375 – WEBWIRE

Eve DeLange sets her mind into writing books as she retired from the many jobs she had. Crime fiction is one of the genres that she has picked and now is offering avid fans of this genre her writing career’s debut, “Betrayed.”

The story has two protagonists, FBI agents’ Ragetti and Smitty. They are given a mission to track down and put in jail a drug ring mastermind. Only some names were given to them and it is their job to figure out how each person is connected. While they are on this drug cartel case, another high-priority case landed on their desk. On the course of their investigation, they’ve discovered a conspiracy; it’s a massive Medicare scam of which a federal officer is involved.

“What we’re looking for is anything you may have seen that make you curious or suspicious about a doctor. DeLange’s crime novel, the first in a proposed series based around Ragetti and Smitty, deals with one of the most sacred of trusts: one’s trust of the medical profession,” says Kat Kennedy of The US Review of Books.

The author on the issue of trust made Smitty say these lines, “Human nature I guess. No one is ever satisfied with what they’ve got, and at times, they’re just plain stupid.”

DeLange’s superb storytelling and attention to detail are evident as readers would turn to each page of this masterpiece. Another great thing about this book is the build-up of the characters. She didn’t miss to add contrast between her two classic FBI agents in a very light manner, Ragetti is a bitterly divorced man while Smitty is a happily married person.
