Paranormal Romance Tale by Frank Tropea Mesmerizes Thrill-seeking Readers

Unlike any usual thriller novel, Frank Tropea’s “Go Ask The Dead” fuses exciting paranormal and historical details in its scenes. The best of both worlds wittingly combined to keep the readers turning into each page and savoring the steamy events in their minds.

Set in a land that witnessed the Civil war and slavery, the South, readers will be more intrigued as the protagonist, Amanda Mannon is a descendant of King Charles II of England. Also, she is a fifteen-year-old girl whose psychic powers are getting stronger as she aged.

As Frank weaves family drama into this story, there goes the side that Amanda’s mother, Aurelia,  never cared for her and she is being looked after by Delia, a black woman who served as their cook and maid. One day, Aurelia just disappeared, and so Amanda is left to the care of her stepfather, a corporate lawyer with cunning beauty. He made his advances on Amanda, something happened to them sexually, yet a friend from the dead’s world guided Amanda to her mother’s grave. Ted admitted to his dreadful act that was fueled by greed.

Amanda’s guardianship is passed on to her great aunt, Lavinia Mannon. The lady opposed anything that deals with the paranormal world as she is a devout Catholic. Despite her opposition, Amanda got into an affair with William, a slain young Confederate soldier. They enjoyed an exotic and erotic affair until the other dead Confederate soldiers moved into Amanda’s mansion. Such is the start of her dark days with William.

While in such darkness, Amanda found out that she’s pregnant. The supposed father is Craig, a normal young man who became her husband. The marriage didn’t last as Amanda divorced him; however, she runs into Craig’s arms to seek comfort and protection from William and his cohorts’ madness.

How could these two mortals defeat the evil that surrounds them? Read through each page and see how Frank masterfully created each character that made this paranormal romance stand out from any books already published in this genre.
