Dr. Draper’s true crime novel, “The Witness,” will be exhibited by ReadersMagnet at the 2019 Guadalajara International Book Fair.

The book captures the experiences of Wanda Draper, Ph.D., a Developmental Epistemologist, in four real-life cases.  She has worked on over 100 capital murder cases as a penalty stage mitigation expert witness for the defendence.  “The Witness” picks-up where CSI leaves off.  Through studies of the defendants and their life histories, Dr. Draper describes the journey of how the guilty defendant arrived to participate in that tragic incident that led to the unthinkable and a life-changing trial.

‘The Witness’ pieces together shards of personal circumstances and critical life events so often swept under the rug of family shame and neglect,” said Dr. Draper about her book, “revealing how the past casts a grave shadow over the future.”

The book explores the origins of inhumanity. The book challenges readers to re-evaluate their own opinions about criminals and the most just punishments. Discover the facets of violent human behavior in your own copy of Dr. Wanda Draper’s “The Witness: Unfolding the Anatomy of a Killer.”
