Wm. Henderson Earns Delaware County Accolades with Ninth Consecutive Talk of the Town Win

Wm. Henderson, Delaware County’s trusted heating, cooling, and plumbing pros, marked its ninth consecutive year as “Talk of the Town” in the County Press, part of the Delaware County News Network. Each year, Delaware County readers nominate favorite retail, dining, and service providers – honoring local businesses that have best-served area families and communities.

This year, Wm. Henderson earned wins in four categories: Favorite Plumber, Favorite Heating and Air Conditioning Contractor, Favorite Sewer Contractor, and Favorite Generator Contractor. During June and July, local readers nominated favorite businesses via online and newspaper ballots. The results were announced in August by Delaware County News Network Sales Director, Richard Crowe.

“The winners … served our readers in an exemplary manner, distinguishing themselves from their competitors by their excellence” noted Crowe in the 2019 Talk of the Town publication. “Being chosen as a Talk of the Town choice is the highest compliment a business can be paid.”

In 1977, Bill and Rita Henderson opened their business right in their Havertown, PA home. In those early days, Bill answered every service call while Rita advertised the growing business. In just a few short years, Wm. Henderson became the preferred home services team for customers from Chadds Ford to Drexel Hill and beyond. By 2017, the home-grown home services business had grown to 50 employees and a fleet of well-stocked trucks serving Delaware County, Chester County, and the Main Line.

The company’s commitment to delivering five-star heating, cooling, and plumbing service remains as strong now as it was over 40 years ago.  Since the very beginning of Talk of the Town, Wm. Henderson has earned 25 honors for exceptional services, which include drain clearing, heating and cooling installations, and more.
