Kimber Snyder unveils her juvenile book “The Adventures of Ivy and Kimber” at the 2019 Frankfurt International Book Fair

Waiting for something is no easy task, but receiving it after some time is indeed worth the wait. This is what the author and nurse Kimber Snyder wants to inculcate to kids and teens in her book “The Adventures of Ivy and Kimber” (iUniverse; 2019).
 
The story follows Kimber who badly wanted to have her own pony. While she was waiting for the right time to own one, she helped her brother Mike in taking care of Buster. Together Mike and Kimber would give grain and hay to Buster and clean out Buster’s stall. Their parents saw how they did a great job, especially Kimber, and finally decided to give their little girl a pony.
 
Kimber’s parents did a thorough search for a pony that is safe for a little girl, and eventually found a pinto pony. Though the pony was blind in one eye and had bent legs on the front, Kimber still appreciated the gift her parents had given her and was so glad to have a pony of her own. She named her pony Ivy and they became the best of friends. Kimber indeed had a very worthwhile moment waiting for the pony she longed for and was truly grateful for that gift.

Kimber Marie Snyder graduated Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Slippery Rock University. Now a grandmother, she has had an everlasting affection of horses and enjoys riding them. Snyder currently works as a registered nurse and lives in the country near Franklin, Pennsylvania with four horses, seven chickens, and two Yorkies. “The Adventures of Ivy and Kimber” is her debut book.
