Nurse and Author Kimber Snyder Pens an Amazing Children’s Book

“The Adventures of Ivy and Kimber” teaches kids to be patient – to wait for something they really want. That is the lesson that author Kimber Snyder wants to impart on her book.
 
Published by iUniverse and illustrated by Joseph Ramsey, “The Adventures of Ivy and Kimber” follows the eight-year-old Kimber who wanted to have a pony very badly. Mike, Kimber’s older brother, had a pony named Buster. Kimber helped Mike take care of Buster and brought hay and grain to his brother’s pony each morning. Kimber’s parents witnessed how hard she worked and were impressed of her contribution. So they decided to give Kimber a pony of her own.
 
After a long search by her parents, Kimber was so happy that she finally had her own pony. Kimber named her pony Ivy and would ride her and take care of her every day. She had so much fun with her pony that Ivy soon became Kimber’s best friend. Indeed, a reward awaits those who are patient and every waiting time that each kid encounters becomes very worthwhile.

About the Author
Kimber Marie Snyder graduated Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Slippery Rock University. Now a grandmother, she has had an everlasting affection of horses and enjoys riding them. Snyder currently works as a registered nurse and lives in the country near Franklin, Pennsylvania with four horses, seven chickens, and two Yorkies. “The Adventures of Ivy and Kimber” is her debut book.
