Rajhon Dodd unveils an entertaining children’s book
The book teaches kids on how to be resourceful despite a strong dislike toward an object or color.
But he hated the color yellow. The nurse wore a bright yellow coat when he got his shots. Bananas were yellow and all smooshy. He got sunburned when the sun was shining high in the sky.
A faithful Christian and loving wife, author Rajhon Dodd unveils her new book “Jaime and the Yellow Clay” for the kids. Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Dodd teaches younglings how to bounce back when things don’t go their way.
The story follows Jaime whose favorite color is blue. He loves the blue water, the blue bouncy balls, and Cookie Monster. In fact, his eyes are blue just like his dad’s. Red and green are fine for him except for one color—yellow. He disdains that color because it is associated with some unpleasant events and objects.
One day at school, Jaime’s teacher gives him a yellow clay. Jaime says he wants the blue one but his teacher gives the blue clay to his classmate instead. To his dismay, he doesn’t do anything with his clay, lest will he touch it. He just stares out the window and ends the class doing nothing. The same thing happens the next day and on the next: he gets the yellow clay and does nothing with it while his classmates create animals and flowers out of clay.
On the last day of making a sculpture from clay, Jaime still receives the yellow clay and sighs. For a long moment, he begins to poke it and suddenly gains an idea. What could have Jaime created? Will he be successful in his attempt?
Parents will find that out when Rajhon Dodd displays “Jaime and the Yellow Clay” at the 2019 Frankfurt International Book Fair. Slated on the 16th-20th of October, Dodd will also feature her Christian book at the world’s largest literary festival at the Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1 in Frankfurt, Germany. See you there!

About the Author
Rajhon Dodd is a 62-year-old Bible teacher and speaker. She is an avid Bible student who loves to sing. She’s a loving wife who’s been married to a soldier for 40 years. Together they have three children and seven grandchildren. Through the years, Rajhon moved over 40 times including two tours to Germany and eleven states in the US. In 1987 she was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and fibromyalgia. On January 18, 2008 Rajhon was healed by the grace of Jesus Christ.
