Berghaus welcomes new ambassador Anna Taylor

Berghaus, the Pentland Brands Ltd company, has announced 21 year-old up-and-coming climber Anna Taylor as the latest addition to its team of sponsored athletes.

Taylor, who has been climbing since the age of 10, will represent the trusted outdoor brand and assist in the development and testing of its next generation of high-performance clothing and equipment.

Anna started out as a competition climber, before developing a love for traditional outdoor climbing. Her most notable climbs are the Llanberis slate quarries in North Wales, and the first ascent of Priceless at Thrang Crags in the Lake District. Last year, she was the focus of Al Lee’s film ‘Just Anna’, and in November, she’ll be the sole female member of a team led by fellow Berghaus athlete Leo Houlding, on a climbing expedition to South America.

The move is part of the brand’s strategy to expand its athlete team with emerging homegrown talent to refresh and highlight the pioneering spirit at its heart. Berghaus aims to support a new generation of bold individuals who will push the boundaries of modern mountaineering and exploration, as well as tap into new expertise as it develops the next generation of products.
